Mass and Elite Higher Education in 21st century - Springer Encyclopedia - list completed
Today the last entry has been confirmed for the section Elite and Mass Higher Education in 21st Century for the International Encyclopedia of Higher Education Systems and Institutions to be published in four volumes in 2017 by Springer. In my section, there are 58 entries in total (68 contributors) with with up to 150,000 words in length. Encyclopedia is always a statement on the state of knowledge as we hold it at present. I have included some entries not featured in previous similar works, such as on immigration and higher education (did you see the book America Needs Talent by Merisotis?) and on refugees and higher education and on critical university and on alternative higher education institutions... This might indeed be one of the last encyclopedias as we have known them.
